Variegated String of Hearts (Ceropegia woodii varagata) is a trailing succulent with leaves shaped like little plump hearts. Variegated SoH differ from a regular SoH in the lack of chlorophyll in its leaves. This absence of chlorophyll creates a creamy/pinkish hue on its leaves. While this color difference is aesthetically more appealing, it fails to create energy for the plant, therefore making variegated plants more rare in nature.
☀️ This succulent requires bright, indirect light indoors or partial/direct sunlight outside to maintain its variegation. If you want your SoH to develop more pink and creamy leaves, be sure to give them more natural light. Without a lot of light, your plant can lose all its variegation.
💧 When watering, saturate soil entirely then allow soil to fully dry out before watering again. Make sure your SoH is potted in well-draining soil and are in pots with good drainage at the base too.
🪴 They will cascade out of their pots as they grow and can be easily grown with other succulents.
